About our services

Frequently asked

01Why is the list split into gas and water?

Because they're different disciplines with different licensing, different diagnostics, and different safety implications, even under one contractor. The split makes the list easier to navigate and it's honest about the fact that a gas repair and a softener install involve genuinely different work.

02Can one visit cover both sides?

Often, and that's a real advantage of one contractor. Mention everything when you book so we allocate the time and bring the right equipment — raising a second item on arrival sometimes means a second trip.

03Do you work on commercial property?

Some light commercial, mostly gas appliance work and fixture service. Tell us the property type when you call so we can schedule and staff it properly rather than arriving under-equipped.

04What if my problem isn't on this list?

Call and describe it. Plenty of smaller work sits inside these categories without being named — shutoff valves, hose bibs, water heater service. If it's genuinely not something we do, we'll say so and point you somewhere sensible.

05Do you supply the equipment, or can I buy my own?

For fixtures and many appliances, either works — send us the model beforehand so we can check compatibility and any high-altitude requirement. For gas piping we install our own materials, because we can't certify a run we didn't install.

06How does pricing work across all of these?

Diagnostic work is quoted per visit with the charge stated before we come out. Projects are quoted after a site visit. We don't publish rate cards because access, permits, and season affect the number more than the task does.

Next step

Not sure which side your problem sits on?

Describe it. Half the value of one contractor across both is that you don't have to know.
